Solar Thermal
The solar thermal is a consolidated technology in the production of hot water and heating. We propose complete high quality solar plants that include flat solar commutator and vacuum-sealed pipes with related boilers, solar governors, recycle pumps, anchor elements and expansion pots with an high quality that allow the best possible realization of the solar thermal plant.

• Who have I to contact to install a solar thermal plant in a house?
How can I understand if is possible to integrate the existing heating plant with solar panels?
In most cases solar panels could be integrated in any type of heating plant, but the solar's one is especially suggested to be used with low temperature systems. In example radiant panels on the floor or on the wall with high efficiency boilers. Anyway the first step to know if solar thermal could be a good solution is to call ah installer that could give you informations on the possibility of the integration with the existing plant. In some case the solution is not suitable: if you choose to install solar panels inside a building without energy efficiency measure solar thermal could be not so usefull.
• What About maintenance costs?
Costs of installation of a solar panel are around 600-800 euros for square meter. The amounts are only indicative because a real relationship between number of installed panels and volume of the environment doesn't exist. All depends on the correct energetic features of the building, on the isolation of the environment, on the efficiency of the plant and on the weather conditions.
• Which measures of maintenance have I to forecast?
Maintenance's operations required by a solar thermal plant are the same of a thermo-idraulic plant.
The regular check of the status of pipes and support panels and cleaning of panel's glasses are important and they need to be performed every six months or once a year to guarantee the correct running of the system.
• Which energetic efficiency could assure this type of plant?
The energetic efficiency of a solar thermal plant is generally difficult to be calculated; it depends on many factors: weather conditions, efficiency of the existing plant, isolation of the building etc. In most cases the solar thermal could cover from 20 to 50% of the heating consumption of Energy.
• Can i have any tax reduction in Italy for solar thermal in 2007?
In 2007, new laws on energetic efficiency make a duty to produce 50% of hot water with solar thermal. However installing solar thermal law allow a reduction of Irpef of 55% in three years.
It's important to push the use of alternative energy systems. In some states or departments there are more advantages installing solar thermal: Turin and Bolzano departments are the most active in this sector.

• What about any other advantage from solar thermal?
First in 20, 30 years of plant life is possible to reduce to 0 the cost of the plant. Also solar thermal is not only cheap; it's also clean because it reduces CO2's emissions.
• Where can i install a solar thermal plant?
Like a photovoltaic plant it's better to turn panels towards south in an unshaded position and with a specific gradient. When commutators are installed on a flat roof it's necessary to have enough space in order that lines of commutators don't shade each other.
• Which data have I to consider?
Like the photovoltaic, the azimuth, the orientation angle regards south, that has to be near zero and the tilt angle that represent the inclination of panels regards the horizon’s line.
• Which allowance have i to ask fo ?
The building must be free from any historical or landscape tie.
• Can i install a solar thermal plant if i am living in a condominium ?
Yes, by previous allowance of owner’s assembly, like the photovoltaic plant. However if you install it into a private terrace not visible from outside it’s not necessary to ask for allowances.
• How many square meters i need to install a solar thermal plan ?
In regards of a family with four person it’s advisable to use 4-6 m2 of solar thermal panels on the roof (at least 21 m2 for the photovoltaic plant). However it’s necessary to forecast enough space inside the house to be taken by the accumulator of hot water; better if near the boiler.
An accumulator takes the same space of a fridge because in a family of four person it has to guarantee 400 L of hot water.
